Changing your name server records
Name servers need to be set to point to your hosting account before your website and email will work on your new hosting.
When you are ready to change your name servers, simply click on the "Hosting" button and it will automatically populate the correct name server details for you, then you need to click "update name servers" for the records to be updated.
| Host Name | ip adreess | |
| primary name server | brigh.twoplums.com.au | 202.47.4.136 |
| secondary name server | mutley.twoplums.com.au | 72.3.132.132 |
It will then take 24-48 hours to propogate these changes across the internet network but often much sooner.
We advise that if you want to see your domain name resolving to your website files sooner, do not be tempted to visit your domain name because your ISP will hold the old address (old ns records) in its cache. If you are concerned that you have not filled in the fields properly, log back in and navigate to the name server page and check that all the information has been entered in correctly. Usually, if you return in a few hours and enter your domain name into the address bar of your browser, you will see the changes that you have made working.
