Domain forwarding or web forwarding
All domain name registrations and transfers and email hosting clients receive free domain forwarding.
After you have ordered domain name forwarding or email hosting service, you will receive an email to let you know that it is ready to use. You can then follow the instructions below to set up the URL where your domain will be redirected to.
- Login to your domain name account with your username and password.
- Click on "manage domains" and select "edit" in the domain name field that you wish to edit.

- Click on "Hosting Control Panel" (link is near right hand corner).
This screen will pop up in a new window, so you must allow pop ups to be able to see the console. Near the top of your browser, it will ask you a question to allow pop ups for this site and you should answer 'yes'. After enabling popups, you may need to log back in and navigate back to the 'hosting control panel' link and this time it should open for you.

4. The screen that will appear will look like and you need to click on 'redirection'

Then the following screen will appear and you should fill in the fields with your title tag, keywords, and page description. See example below.

The redirection sets up cloaked forwarding by default and you need to click on "change redirector" and then,"click here to disable cloaking".
The following screen will appear that will tell you that cloaking has been disabled.

We recommend that you choose uncloaked forwarding because cloaked (framed) forwarding will not allow your site to be crawled by search engine robots and hence your site will not be indexed and included in the search engines' databases.
Finally, if you have transferred your domain name in and not registered your domain name through us, you will need to navigate back to the 'name server' page and change your name servers before domain name forwarding will work. The easiest way to find this page, is to go to http://domains.passioncomputing.com.au/ , click on 'Manage Domains' and then click the 'Edit' link next to your domain name.

Changing your name server records
Change your name server records to (below) or then you need to click "update name servers" for the records to be updated. The only likely error you will get entering these details, is if you cut and paste in a space after the host names.
-
Host Name
ip adreess
primary name server
brigh.twoplums.com.au
202.47.4.136
secondary name server
mutley.twoplums.com.au
120.136.40.98
It will then take 24-48 hours to propogate these changes across the internet network but often much sooner.
We advise that if you want to see your domain name resolving to your website files sooner, do not be tempted to visit your domain name because your ISP will hold the old address (pre changes you have just made) in its cache. If you are concerned that you have not filled in the fields properly, log back in and navigate to these pages and check that all the information has been entered in correctly. Usually, if you return in a few hours and enter your domain name into the address bar of your browser, you will see the changes that you have made working
Problems
If you have any problems, please contact sales@passioncomputing.com.au from your registrant email address, and send the name of your domain, the destination url and whether you want standard forwarding or framed forwarding. If you do not indicate the type of domain forwarding we will choose standard forwarding. Note: Domain name forwarding does not come with email forwarding. If you wish to use the email addresses associated with your domain name, then we recommend that you buy email hosting with domain forwarding. Click here for email hosting prices. and you can set up your email accounts to redirect to any email address or just use the email addresses without redirection. It's up to you. The big issue with email forwaring services that do not allocate disk space to you but simply redirects your email is that mail may get lost and no "undelivered mail' email will go back to the sender. If you have an email hosting account and set up your account to redirect mail, if for some reason the mail is rejected by the address you are redirecting your mail to or that service happens to be offline temporarily, then you will always be able to check via webmail for all mail that was not received to your email address. If you were to use a pure email forwarding service, then mail is would simply be lost. This is why we support full email accounts because it is more reliable.
