DIY website instructions

There are many templates to choose from. When choosing a template, keep in mind that the colours of each template are limited but the images and text all be changed. Therefore, look for the template that colours, menu and layout will suit your website content the best.

After you have chosen your template, you can change the main image, email address, title, subtitle and content.

Next, after you have chosen your template, create all the link name of your site. eg. About Us, Contact Us, Products Pages, etc..There is no need to put the content in yet, simply add all these pages to the site and have a look at how the menus and pages appear in the template. Move the pages around, change the page names, reorder content, till you are happy with how your site navigates. You can always add more pages but using this method, you will be able to visualize your site and it is at this stage that you may consider making changes to your website content. Create the footer links.

Then, add content to each individual page and when you are done, the last and important step is to go to the search engine optimization area (under Goodies) and edit all these fields with appropriate titles tags, keywords, page descriptions.

Publish your site by clicking the 'publish' button.
